Britteny and Lauren made today’s dental appointment for my 6 and 9 year old kids a breeze. I can’t say enough about their thoroughness in telling both kids what to expect next. Kids and dental x-rays are such a challenge, but they went at my kids’ pace and encouraged them along the way. My son has sensory issues and needed the gas for a filling. Lauren’s patience in getting him acclimated to the gas mask was comforting and so appreciated. Britteny worked fast and efficiently with Dr Matthews to get the job done. And I can’t leave out Val and Ellen who went out of their way to walk me through the payment options and get next appointments scheduled. We love TLC!! So thankful for them.

Great Dental office

First of all I was VERY anxious about letting anyone do anything for me but Dr. Lowry. I am very picky about who I let work in my mouth. Today I had to have a crown. Grrrr! I am a BIG chicken when it comes to pain in my mouth! Kyna was WONDERFUL in helping me relax and assuring me I would not be hurt. She and Dr. Mathew worked extremely well together. No glitches. Hand in glove. Tiffany was very welcoming and helpful with my payment and insurance process. She was also very good over the phone when I called to schedule my appointment. I would highly recommend this group!

Athens TLC is more than just a dental care center.  It is a place where a personal interest is taken in every patient.  I never thought I'd say that I felt better after going to the dentist.  But it is true!  The personal always treat me with respect and share genuine concern for not just my dental care, but for me!  Thank God for this wonderful medical practice and for Dr. Anita Mathew!!!

Great first experience with Athens TLC Dental. Brittany took good care of me in doing x-rays, photos, and cleaning. I really appreciated how Dr. Matthew asked me about my goals in being there and all recommendations were very specifically tailored to those goals.

Fillings don't have to hurt!

I've had several fillings done before, and it has always been a terrible process. It turns out that it doesn't have to be! Dr. Mathew made the process easy and painless.

I have NEVER had a better experience at the dentist! Today was my first appointment as a new patient, and the second I stepped in the building I was greeted with smiles and kindness. I have never felt so comfortable at a dentist appointment, and you can tell that comfort is EXTREMELY important to Athens TLC Dental - they even have a COMFORT MENU!



I also really appreciate their community initiative as well as their authenticity. I didn't feel as though they were trying to manipulate me or make me spend more than I actually needed to - which I greatly appreciate as a student. Everyone was respectful and tentative, and I hope to stay with them for my coming years in Athens!

Great Treatment

I recently needed a crown and TLC got it taken care quickly and expertly. As it turned out, I was having my permanent crown set on a Wednesday and I had a cleaning scheduled on Monday of the same week. Once TLC realized I was scheduled for two different appoints in the same week, they graciously combined the 2 appointments and saved me a trip! That is customer service with a smile!
